From 2001 to 2005 Grodzki Theatre was involved
in a series of 5 projects as part of the "Culture for
social harmony" programme run by the European Cultural
Foundation,
the Batory Foundation and Wybrzeżak Theatre.
This programme promoted artistic ways of helping
to abolish social and cultural isolation. By
involving young people in creative work, it helped
them to
understand
and shape their position in society. Forms of
co-operation between professional artists and
young people was
established, with principles of equality and
partnership.
