The project focused on developing and staging theatre
performances, based on the local and regional traditions,
by people
with disabilities. Workshops were held once twice a
week for two to three hours in 5 therapy and community
centres
in Bielsko-Biała. Addictionally, two one-day workshops
were organised on local folk art. Drama productions
were inspired by selected topics, places, historical events,
legends and ceremonies from the Silesian Province.
They
were presented during the the 6th Beskidy Festival
of the Small and the Big - an annual event organised by
the Assocation Grodzki Theatre.
